Purely by coincidence, I sat near one of the Breakfasts King’s early morning meetings a couple of weeks ago and I gotta tell ya, it is entirely possible Henry Patterson is telling the truth. He is available to any voter who wants to have a 5:30 in the morning breakfast in Cleveland.
It is noteworthy that in 45 minutes I sat near the sheriff and his posse of biscuit eaters, not one time did I see anyone who would qualify as a voter who just dropped by to visit with the sheriff. But if there had been one, it is entirely possible that voter could have interrupted the good ole boys in between their passing the biscuits and talking shop.
Also noteworthy, no talk of the strain the rising cost of running the jail and how to reduce the problems happening there almost every week. I would not call these meeting problem solving meetings or town halls. I would call them more like a clique of good old boys who meet to make sure everything, especially politics, is going their way.
I must say I was troubled to hear some of the negative things I heard said about some in our community. But it is noteworthy to say none of the negative talk came from the sheriff. I don’t know the players in this game well enough to tell you who said what, but the sheriff was more of a spectator than anything. The sheriff seemed to care less.
What did I get out of sitting next to their breakfast? Two biscuits, two strips of bacon, and two eggs over easy. What is my advice to anyone thinking of attending? Unless you are from Cleveland, you probably have pretty good morning vittles closer to you than the Hot Biscuit. Who do I think you ought to vote for? Next time I am voting for pancakes and sausage. The biscuit crowd has sold me on one thing and that is that they have no clue.

No reason not to. Next time move in there and sit with them. The bible is real clear that Jesus sat and ate with em..... When all they hear from is each other they get that Charlie Sheen "winning" thing going in their little heads.
Well since you don't know who the geniuses are that are running Patterson's re-election team, you probably missed the honor of seeing the one this website has dubbed "Chatterbox". He was in WalMart about 10:30 Thursday morning. It looks to me like he is not eating as many biscuits as in previous days. Might I surmise a steady diet of self righteousness, koolaide, and all of the pills his psyche must require leaves little room for anything but hyperbole, bravado, and lies at these breakfast meetings?
So I hear Doc Jones & Bob Steely are supporting the Republican womanizer for constable. I have always held these two men on high standards & respect. He may have gotten off for it but one does not get 'accused' of sexual indescretions repeatedly without there being some accuracy to it. I just hope this is some more of the coffee shop gossip.
On January 1,2013 that all will change when Bobby Rader is sworn in as the new sheriff. No more Harris County rejects. I for one will be at going to the morning breakfast on April 4,2012 to see all the sad faces sitting around the table. Liberty County will have a lot of new elected officials this year.

Doc Jones and Bob Steely are supporting a good man for Constable. Everyone has skeletons in their closet including the other two running for Constable. One of them is an alcoholic who has been fired from two jobs because of alcohol related incidents and the other who is the Democratic candidate is a bigger womanizer than anybody. He has ruined the lives of several women. It is time for a change.
Hey LD has Guthrie furnished you that accident report on his wreck. I hear that he is running scared because he knows when the accident information is made public he will probably be fired.
hind sight is 20-20. There's no track record, that following the lead of Doc Jones and Bob Steely leads to quality elected leadership. In fact, the record shows just the opposite. These are loony bin, has been's- still trying to control, and mess up everything.
They need to just accept senility's arrival, and ride off into the sunset, as their useful years are long since passed. It's porches, rocking chairs, sunsets, cold drinks, remembering when, and "good old days"-(that never were)!!! Their constituents are all in nursing homes, hospitals, and cemeteries. They'll just have to find a way to get used to it.

Doc Jones and Bob Steely are about equivalent to Fuddy, and his bunch. Useless, political meddlers, with delusions of grandeur, and illusions of relevance.
All they can do, is invade community events, and public comments- falsely presuming that anybody cares what they think, or say. Sorry, you old dinosaurs; the agenda was set, and posted, before you got there! You were merely a part of the obligatory five minutes of irrelevance, called public comments.

I assume the womanizing comment is referring to Joslin.. hmm, if it wasn't so hurtful for some, it would be somewhat comical. As for one of the candidates being a.drunkard, I can't speak for that cause I don't even know him.. as for the other being a womanizer, I can't say first hand..only hearsay that he has been. But as far as Joslin being a womanizer & assaulting unexpecting, innocent women, I AM able to say I do not believe this. I am a female & have worked closely with Joslin. I have worked with other officers alongside Joslin, as well as alone..just he & I..for extended hours on jobs and as I informed the last official that came to me & said to watch out for Joslin, I am glad to inform that he has never attempted to sexually assault me! He has never even made an disrespectful or harassing innuendo of such! I seriously doubt an officer would be walking the streets & still wearing a gun & badge he was this way. From a female point of view, we have enough creeps that blatantly harass women on & off the job that we don't need to wrongfully accuse. Has anyone mentioned the female deputy who made these accusations was allegedly accused of inappropriate relations with an inmate? Come on. Again..I'm a female & he's never came onto me, much less sexually assaulted me & when he does I will never be his friend again..please...
I'm male, and he never sexually harassed me, either. He always shook hands instead. Don't anybody start with the handshake instead of a kiss cracks. I prefer the handshakes, as well. Must be an older school thing, or something.
If you were there, why did you not go up and talk to them?? You want to write in to this site and complain about all of the things that this man and his buddies are doing wrong, but yet when you had a chance to walk up to him and let him know what you think, you just decided to sit there and make up more gossip to post, I am not a Patterson fan, and if I was in your position I would of walked over and talked to the man about the issues that I get on here and complain about everyday !!
I feel like by commenting on this issue I am beating a dead horse. I probably am. Yet I see something in Bradshaw most people probably think only exists in the context of spiritual concepts or manners. When I see Mark Bradshaw (who I've known going on 8 years now) I literally see evil personified. I see a psychopathic criminal who has surrounded himself with little minion sociopaths. For this man the ends always justify the means, and the concept of right and wrong are mere fairy tales he chooses to disregard. I see a man who was hated by the vast majority of his coworkers at Humble to the point that when he was in patrol cover units were slow to respond to help him. The man's weakness other than his reckless ambition is his deep dark perversions. The man has always had deep issues coping with an addiction to pornography. (Documented by previous EEOC complaints in Humble). His lust and penchant for other women has led him to cheat on his wife repeatedly. His sexual indiscretions have created a miserable atmosphere at his home for his wife and two children. If you know the man personally you wouldn't know he even had a family. They don't seem to play much of a role in his life. However, considering the way Bradshaw was forced to resign from Humble in lieu of being terminated due to sexual harassment I'm sure his wife (who works for Humble) doesn't mind not being associated too often with her husband. When you look at Bradshaw in the face you would be shocked to know this man is only in his mid 40s. He quite honestly could pass for a man in his mid to late 60s. I attribute his very old looking condition due to very hard living. Mark Bradshaw has a well known problem with alcoholism. In fact recently he was witnessed by many people drunk at the Cleveland civic center making extremely direct and overt advances to Mrs. Tracey Walters. Whom BTW he has been witnessed many times spending great amount of time in her office after hours. I even heard there are pictures going around to prove such accusations. In addition to a well know alcohol issue the man has recently openly admitted to numerous individuals he has had issues abusing the prescription amphetamine known as Phentermine to the count of 3 or 4 pills a day. If you ask any MD what effects this can have on a.person's psyche and personality and heart they would agree the effects can be devestating. Mark may be 45 years old but if you look at him you would see a man who appears to be 65 at least.
Now when I say Mark is evil I don't say that lightly. For example look at the case of officer Spencer Templeton. The officer was involved in a major accident on his way to work. Officer Templeton had been a loyal officer at CPD for years. During rehab from his accident and while not yet being released by a doctor and still having a TUBE IN HIS THROAT; Bradshaw terminates Templeton and tells him he can reapply in the future when a position comes open. I think most people who made a decision to do something like that would be afraid for their eternal souls. Yet Bradshaw is a closet atheist who can't stand when his employees talk about God or prayer.
With Mark Bradshaw history seems to repeat itself over and over. He now finds himself the subject of another EEOC investigation for harassment. Yet in Mark's mind he isn't wrong. To a psychopathic person like Mark the entire world can be wrong, but he is always right. And now that he's the chief he doesn't have someone telling him to resign and the whole situation will go away. Instead he breaks the law by violating the whistleblower act and personally retaliating against the employee who filed the complaint over and over again.
Cont: Mark doesn't understand actions he takes have consequences. Most supervisors would do everything they can to appease and avoid an employees who files a federal lawsuit against you but not Mark. Against the advice of his own friends and confidants he hammers and hammers and hammers this poor lady. Mark is a bully. Which is slightly ironic because Mark has a history of being bullied himself. According to former instructors and classmates in Marks police academy he was always the guinea pig when demonstrating defensive tactics manuevers. His instructors and classmates beat and practiced on him mercilessly. I guess even back then his callous attitude left a sour taste in peoples mouth.
More about Marks long disgusting career in law enforcement can and will be said soon.
Also soon we will get in the long disgusting law enforcement career of his chief minion Paul Lowery and the numerous agencies he's been fired from before coming to Cleveland.

sealy's problem is, that the chief's doing EXACTLY what she did, back in her "young and good looking" days! Now, that she can't command men to do ANYTHING, she files complaints... awwwwww!

Ashmore's gripes and complaints are on notarized documents of public record. Obviously she isn't scared to.put her name behind the statements toward the chief.
