EXCLUSIVE: Dayton, Texas Land Rush- more corruption

Land speculators have quietly descended upon the Dayton, Texas area. A select group of Liberty County Officials with inside information have contracted with several out of the area front people to make offers and use ruses to capture land cheaply in the Dayton area. The 'inside traders' are purchasing land in advance of the state buying land in relation to the new tollway coming through Liberty County and Dayton, Texas. Certain land parcels in Dayton could become very valuable in the near future.

More on this story, later.

I love Liberty County politics. Now that The Sopranos are off the air maybe we could sell a series on our little mafia down here.

Here is the deal patriots. Whoever doesn't get prosecuted, whoever gets to say "that is not illegal"...... they will receive their reward later. If not jailtime, then at the ballot, if not at the ballot, then in the afterlife. Lawyers and others can lose their souls because they get into this thinking about what is legal or what they can get away with.

This joke reminds me of Liberty County corruption and why it continues:
Family Law Judge to Mother: Do you understand that you have sworn to tell the truth?

Mother: I do.

Judge: Do you understand what will happen if you are not truthful?

Mother: Sure. I get everything I want

We are not well protected from corruption in this county. Those who have the power to stop it are either involved in it or they are more like this second joke:
"What do you call a lawyer with a 40 IQ?"

You call him "Judge".

Why is it that every time there is a money related project in Liberty County, the politicians come out in droves with their behind the scenes thieving?

A message perhaps best passed on to the weak kneed so-called leaders in the courthouse who continue to seat in there exalted seats and wear their robes of self righteousness (a quote from Joan of Arc): "You say that you are my judge; I do not know if you are; but take good heed not to judge me ill, because you would put yourself in great peril."

We are trying to get our hands on the land that will be next to the Grand Parkway that is coming through liberty County. That is why it took us so long to decide where we wanted this new highway to pass through Liberty County. We bought up most of the land first, then gave the State our planned route for the new road. Now we can either build new business's out there or sell the land for five times what we paid for it. We haven't done anything wrong, just think, we are bringing in new business to the County, besides filling our pockets with money. Besides, the way these Republicans are going, this will probably be our last and final Scam in Liberty County.

I am wondering how much of this Land Rush old Conner is involved in. It wouldn't suprise me if he isn't in on this deal too.
