THE JOE WARREN CASE : “THE AFTERMATH”

While Liberty Dispatch continues to express the opinion that District Attorney Mike Little should have at the very least put Assistant District Attorney Joe Warren on administrative leave until charges of tampering with a witness and threatening to burn a house down were adjudicated. The two groups involved in investigating and defending that case has been working long and hard from behind the scenes with declared war on each other.

In case there is still some doubt who dug up the case involving Joe Warren’s dangerous tirade against his next door neighbors and those trying to suppress it- Liberty County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) Captain Louis Guthrie re-ignited both sides a few days ago. Guthrie sent out an exclusive press release to “The Outsiders” website and to Vanesa Brashier at The Cleveland Advocate/The Dayton News. Besides signaling to the public that Liberty Dispatch is not, and has not been, part of the investigation – Guthrie’s press release might as well have admitted that this case is over and done, and that the sheriff’s department and "The Outsiders” can only defend what they did from here forward.

Guthrie and company’s decision to put their defense in the form of a letter to the media has set up a situation where they can continue to defend their actions against Brashier and company (Mike Little, Joe Warren, and others). In addition, part of the aftermath of this case should clarify once and for all that despite the fact Liberty Dispatch and its readers have clearly stated their opinions about this case, it is "The Outsiders” and the sheriff that has joined forces against Brashier and other media that the D.A. is using to try and pin and defend.

Brashier’s demotion from the editor of two local papers to online editor, still leaves her with an interactive comment section. Several people have pointed out how Brashier seems to be disguising herself and her opinions under the cloak of the online commenter name “Moodswing.” Her obvious alias in the comment section of both papers is an active critic of everything to do with the LCSO and an active defender of Mike Little and Joe Warren. Guthrie sending a press release to Vanesa Brashier and the Advocate is an obvious attempt by The Outsiders' idea of how to respond to the “no billed” case and the difference between their view of the case and the grand jury’s view.

There are those who are calling for the Federal Government to investigate suspected jury tampering by Joe Warren and his boss Mike Little after the original witness tampering charges against Warren.

Liberty Dispatch is sure the Joe Warren case and his boss Mike Little’s actions will be the topic of future stories in Liberty County.

Stay tuned…

Every story written about this, no matter who it is written by, leaves me wondering why Mike Little did not suspend Warren with pay.

The local papers have ALWAYS skewed their stories to help Democrats. Mike Little is the unofficial head of the Democrats. So who would be surprised if all the papers skew stories for Mike Little?

Just what Liberty County needs ..... the D.A.'s office against the Sheriff's office! Poor ole Vanesa versus some right wingers!!

Honesty is a virtue you work hard for everyday, the reward you receive is trust. I do not know Joe Warren, but the DA has been so political over the years that I can not trust that his hand has not manipulated how this case came out.

Ask the folks who owned the car wash in Humble how "fair and impartial" Mr. Guthrie was when he shut them down.

What a hypocrite!

Poor ole illiterate Allen Youngblood is weighing in on this story again. He keeps acting like someone wants to hear his music and his politics. What does Allen say? In a nutshell it is his same old manta: "Men on street fighting crime are BAD. Men helping Mike Little and his politics GOOD."

I agree with the comment about the little girly blogger. He probably has written stories in advance that he just have to fill in the blank. Stories saying (blank) is a sorry human being and Little is right about (blank).

Shopping on the internet:

Vanesa: SOLD OUT
Youngblood: SOLD OUT
KSHN: SOLD OUT

* Question: Youngblood and Buchanan own their business. How long will the owners of Vanesa's business let her bet on the group that voters are rejecting wholesale?

That is a good comment. Vanesa is now in too deep. Little owns her.

I love the Joe Warren defenders. One of them asked my sister who it is that would believe one of the districts attorneys would do something like Joe is accused of. My sister said anyone that knows Joe. LOL

The more i-dine out talks bad about the Liberty County S.O. The more I'm glad I voted for Patterson.Making people mad means the S.O.is doing a great jon.

The open letter to the Cleveland Advocate and TheOutsidersnews is signed by Guthrie, but there is no evidence beyond that. It may be a stretch to say it is: "an obvious attempt by The Outsiders' idea of how to respond to the “no billed” case and the difference between their view of the case and the grand jury’s view." The Outsiders' MO is to show their evidence when making a case. Guthrie has been severely attacked by the corrupt local media and may feel he needed to say something now, even if the evidence is not in hand yet. As to the people who say citizens have a "civil right" to steal money from cars without consequences, I'd say Guthrie still has a clean record on that.

Since you bring up Guthrie. Why didn't he put on a sufficient case to get Joe Warren indicted? The case is a slam dunk. There is more than enough evidence that Joe Warren case has extreme probable cause that crimes were committed.

With that much evidence and a competent prosecutor, it must have been Guthrie who dropped the ball.

That is unless Mike Little poisoned the grand jury foreman which has been alleged and also other grand jurors.

What happened? Is it true the Feds are looking into it?

I think it was a bad move for Guthrie to go public, who is his handler or public relations adviser? Nice guy, dumb move...

Guthrie needs a political adviser...

This Warren case should have gone to the Feds, hopefully its not too late.

I agree this case should have gone to the Feds, this case was too easy for Mike Little, Joe Warren and Dan Bradley to "engineer" in Liberty County. Until the Feds do something, this case is always going to stink.

I heard that Dan Bradley had ex-parte communications with several of the jurors.

Deals were struck.

I agree this case had a lot of evidence and several judges who've seen the evidence decided it was worth going forward. I know that if anybody else were to go before a grand jury, they would not have been no-billed. Something smells and I bet there's more to this story.

The Devil has revealed himself in Mike Little Joe Warren and their associates. All this had to happen to show Liberty County who the evil are in the courthouse.

The Lord will now have the final say in all this evil.

Some of yall pull the same thing Joe Warren pulled and you will go straight to jail. Then instead of going before a Grand Jury, you will go before a Judge to be sentanced for the crime you had committed. Does something smell like a rat here? Answer: No,it smells like an outdoor toilet.

I work in the courthouse and I can tell you how Mike Little engineered the no-bill for Joe Warren.

1. Mike Little and Joe Warren knew about the October 21st Grand Jury that was going to convene to consider Joe warren's cases a month in advance... to prepare.

2. Mike Little was very crafty, he put Joe Warren in front of the grand jury pushing cases before them and creating a "trust me, I represent the state" with the grand jury and allowed Warren to start making friends with all those people individually and in particular the Black Democrat preacher who was the grand jury foreman.

3. Joe Warren's attorney Dan Bradly was allowed to talk to people on the grand jury about Joe Warren well in advance of the Warren grand jury.

4. This grand jury who heard the Joe Warren case was in place months before the Joe Warren case and the Warren case was the last case they heard. That made them easy to tamper with.

The fix was totally in...

I never have necessarily believed where there was smoke there is fire. But I have always believed where there is fire someone will come to put it out and stop the damage. Looks like Mike Little played firemen for good ole Joe Boy.
