In a recent quote from you in a Cleveland Advocate story, you-commissioner Melvin Hunt refer to commissioner Todd Fontent, Lee Groce and past county judge Phil Fitzgerald as the "evil empire".
What you don't want prospective voters to know is how you also voted with your so called "evil empire" most of the time over the past decade.

If you would have admittedly owned up to your wrong Democrat behavior and going forward pledged to do the "right" thing for the future of Liberty County, we would have accepted you, but not now. It is so very convenient for you to blame your official past voting record and acts on people who cant or wont defend themselves.
Im sure that Phil Fitzgerald's and Lee Groce's loved ones really appreciate you kicking them when they are down.
Go plead your case to Ken Coleman and Nancy Archer- we will support your opponent/s "vigorously".

Thats right, Phil and Lee might have done something wrong or not, but their families will be traumatized by the system and comments like these by Melvin Hunt.
We dont need people like Melvin in our party. His has been a reign of financial terror upon Liberty County.
I would NOT have accepted Melvin Hunt under any conditions. I never accepted his little offers to pave this or clear that either. The man represents the worst part of politics. If he runs as a Republican prepare to hear all of the trash the man has been doing for the last quarter of a century!
Let me make a prediction. If Melvin Hunt and other Democrats sign up as Republicans and the leadership sends no signals to the voters to vote for real Republicans running against them, the Tea Party and other conservatives will ral on GOP leaders.
Will Hunt pay an extra fiver for votes from precinct 20 because he is no longer a jack ass? Or will he remain a jack ass and stick with the regular pick up, pay, and drop off routine?
Commissioner Hunt has wasted so much taxpayer money he will always be a jack ass to me......
Someone needs to tell people like Ken Coleman and some of the "leaders" who were not around in the 1990's about the crimes against conservative humanity that some of these dems committed. If we are an all inclusive party or if we hide behind the idea we can not reject anyone, then what do we stand for? We should not stand for letting Hunt or Little magically declaring they are suddenly one of us.

If Melvin turns Republican,does his mind thought also turn Republican? I wouldn't vote for him if he turned blue.
Their families may not like to see those types of comments, but it is Phil and Lee who traumatized them, not the comments about their actions. Hunt is no different from them. How he escaped the Feds i dont know. How he can now stand up in public and make those comments is also beyond me. Could it be the lure of money and power?
The loved ones are always a casualty in the sins of the father. It shouldn't be but they are.
Ive known Lee's family and they are good people, its a shame the families have to suffer too.

Liberty County really needs to put the chapter of Hunt, Groce, Fitzgerald, Little and their lackeys behind it go grow. Until then, Liberty County is not a safe place.
Hunt has to really look far and wde to find a reason for voters to give him four more years. He has to look into shangra-la and the made up wprld of politicians who have been exposed and try and become someone he is not.
Hunt voted right along with all the other Commissioners on the Corruption deals, so he is just as guilty as Groce and Fitzgerald. Maybe he turned states evidence in order to keep out of prison. Was there a deal made for him and Todd?
People like him count on the fact that a lot of voters do not read this web site, or keep up too much with politics.
Hunt doesn't have a brain cell in his head to vote on his own; hence, Groce always told him how to vote and, like the good little puppy he was, Hunt always did what he was told to do. He's an idiot and a goofball and he needs to be under indictment, as well.
too bad, that stupidity isn't criminal (but conspiracy and collusion are)!
