Controversial Liberty County Party Chairman Placed

Liberty Dispatch has been given information that Kenneth Coleman has been narrowly voted into the Liberty County Republican Party as Liberty County Chairman the night of 10/03/2011. According to some people present at the Republican meeting when Coleman was voted in as county chair, he was voted in by some odd and some say questionable circumstances. There was a tie vote between the current party VP and Coleman, then mysteriously one of the people who voted for the current VP left the meeting and -THEN- the vote was recast and Coleman was automatically elected by the Republican precinct chairs.  Coleman's temporary status as chairman will end Spring 2012 unless he is voted in at the primary election.

Coleman is a controversial placement as party chair since he was a previous VP Chair under Lester Ray Wisegerber. People who follow our local Republican Party history will remember that during Coleman’s and Wisegerber’s tenure, Chairman Wisegerber made the infamous R’s and D’s statement- basically saying that it didn’t matter if you had a (R) or a (D) next to your name and if you promoted the Republican Party you were "crazy".

There are those who say this move to place Coleman in as party chair was done to help unscrupulous RINO’s and corrupt Democrat carpetbaggers slip into our party. One clue to the possible further defilement of our local party is the embracing of Coleman by the local democrat/liberal Liberty County media.

Coleman's actions as party chair will be watched closely.  It is LD's hope that Coleman acts to protect and strengthen our party, not bring more internal damage.

The battle lines are quickly being drawn… Stay tuned.

The infamous (R's) and (D's) statement by Chairman Lester Ray Wisegerber, Ken Coleman VP.

Mr.Coleman says he wants Republicans to be "positive". Well Mr. Coleman one thing I am "positive" about is that you will start WWIII if you abdicate your unoffcial role as gatekeeper of the party. The party does not have to smile at everyone who signs up to run as a Republican. Party faithfuls expect you to frown on candidates that are obvious RINOs.

Thanks a lot Andy.

The fix is in now... Bunch of RINO's and democrat criminals will flood into our party. I pray the TEA Party outs these dirt bags who threaten to enter our party.

I know one thing Mr. Coleman, that was a slick move you played at the meeting to "slide" into our party. People like you, Wisegerber and the rest of the people booted out of office have to cheat to win.

Buchanan can sing your praises or have his convicted child molester eric latz promote you. People will wince...

yeah, either way.

Across the country people are longing for a President who can understand their pain, mix it up and get action — not one who averts his gaze, avoids conflict, delegates to Congress, wastes time hunting for common ground, and is always raising money. In this county Republicans are looking for strong pro active leadership, not someone who blends in with the Democrats and tries not to rock the boat.

No unilateral disarmamment. We will be principled and insist Coleman is too if he wants to be relevant.

Coleman is a democrats dream come true! No wonder Vanesa and Buchanan are following him so close.

I am usually a big proponent of appointing a temporary replacement for a public office that does not intend on running for that office. Maybe that is the case here.

This smells almost as bad as Mike Little and Joe Warren's no-bill grand jury.

I can always go back to voting for the person, instead of the Party.

back to the article: recall election?

The Wisegerber and Coleman team tried to take Cain and Morefield's heads off. It was a fight that has left many including those associated with this site bloodied and damaged.

They tried to drill Tommy too to help Hight's buddy Zbranek.

I remember well, you are right.

What happened to Andy McCreight?

Andy was in over his head as chairman in Liberty County. He was a man with a good heart that wanted the party to prosper. He knew Mike Little was going to sign up to run as a republican and didn't want to experience that backlash on his watch. Andy did not want to be the one who brought in a homosexual criminal like Mike Little into the Republican Party. The other thing is that Mike Little, Huff and Joe Warren probably threatened him with some kind of trumped up charges if he didnt let them into the party or face arrest/indictment.

Andy knew first hand about Mike Little though seeing what he had done to Ray.

Well I guess now all of the so called County Officials that have ran as Democrats will now run over and switch to the Republican side. I hear that L.W. Despain who is the Constable at Pct.#5 was at the meeting and told them that he intended to sign up this time as a Republican even though he had been elected 4 times as a Democrat.
Well I thought I was going to vote a straight republican ticket this time but now I guess I will have to vote for the person instead. I wonder when they will let the shell thief Royce Wheeler and the comic Melvin Hunt join them. Time to go I am getting sick.....

NEWSFLASH: another duhh-Nesa area of ops leaves both town, the area, and the state.

Yes, the obits, (like the in print editor, advertising, and the sports reporting...) is no handled longer locally, nor even in-house. In fact, it's handled by another company, out of Chicago, in Evanston Illinois! See the following, when you click on the Advocate's obituaries tab:

http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/clevelandtx/ or see:

http://www.legacy.com/NS

here's the bottom of their page:
Legacy.com All Rights Reserved — 820 Davis Street, Suite 210, Evanston, IL 60201

The GOOD news is, (after she hit up my neighbor's widor for FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS, for a half inch obit, and that wasn't published- until after the services- naturally, no refunds!) is that there's finally a way to get rid of duhh-Nesa: people are DYING to do it!

Some people may want to quote BTW Chapter 59 and claim Mike Little’s funds are NOT taxpayer's money. They would say it is seizure money. But what these people are doing is ignoring who WE THE PEOPLE are. These people might correctly state that the seized money can only be used by law enforcement and the DA's office. But they would fail to realize all law enforcement and DA’s office is owned by the taxpayer. Mike Little is sitting on a boatload of money – it IS our money. If WE THE PEOPLE insisted on it, law enforcement and the DA’s office could be given a big fat goose egg in their budget and forced to use this money to run their offices. I don’t like trust Mike Little with 50 cents and when he used the power of his office to intimidate and politick for a huge budget increase while the county was burying itself in debt, I lost the tiny bit of respect I had left for him. If Little and his clan want golf money or travel money they should do what the rest of us do, dig in our own pockets – not ours. The slush fund should be audited and the results should be made public.
