Liberty Dispatch readers will remember how the mysterious group “The Outsiders” investigated and produced a story about Liberty County ADA Joe Warren and his alleged crimes. In their story they also attached evidence of Liberty City Officials in an alleged reported cover-up of police reports and information related to Joe Warren's alleged crimes.
Readers will also remember that ADA Joe Warren's alleged crimes were brought before a Liberty County Grand Jury and Mr. Warren was no-billed of all charges.
Fast forward to the past week, Liberty Dispatch has learned that Joe Warren’s attorney- Daniel Bradley has noticed Liberty County of his intent to sue on behalf of his client Joe Warren. Attorney Dan Bradley worked for Liberty County DA Mike Little and Joe Warren as an ADA then left to practice law outside of the DA’s office. Daniel Bradley now practices law closely with Mike Little and Joe Warren separate of the Liberty County DA’s office.
Attorney Daniel Bradley has expressly noticed current Liberty County Sheriff Henry Patterson and Liberty County of his client’s “Intent to Sue”. Heretofore Attorney Bradley has six months to file his lawsuit which is expected to be filed in Federal Court as a 1964 Civil Rights action. The exact details of Warren’s claims are unknown at this time but apparently they are related to alleged “false charges” made by and through the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Henry Patterson which ultimately translated into a no billed or favorable grand jury decision for Joe Warren.
Who knows how/if this lawsuit - which will be filed in the upcoming election year affect Sheriff Henry Patterson’s re-election campaign?

I realize it was the outside bunch that posted the initial story on LD, so I have to wonder what they were thinking digging up an old case lke this and going after a lawyer. This will cost the county stacks of greenbacks to defend and if they lose.......
Joe Warren needs anger management.
The Outsiders in their zeal perhaps to help the Farmer man who has announced he is running for DA, left out one thing. That ONE THING could be a huge settlement all of us here in Liberty County have to pay.
In my opinion Joe steppd ovr the line and the jury screwed up.
FAIR AND BALANCED REPORTING
I like Joe warren but he and his attorney wont make it past the discovery phase. Joe has too many skeletons. Wes Hinch could close down the discovery for a Warren payday.
I thought last week was a bad week with the sheriff's spokesman being called on exaggerating stories about meth busts and all of the blow back from losing the Warren case giving the media the opportunity to rehash the story about the psychic and the false mass murder case. This could be much worse because it will cost a ton of money unless a judge throws it out of court early on.
Patterson had his shot and he and his crew f-ed up.
We have a sheriff that cant make a case, do we really want someone like this as our fearless leader?????????
I never have really cared to watch Batman and Robin, but it seems we have grown ups that did and they are wanting to hide their faces like their heroes. Now since the trick or the treat is going to cost us Liberty County citizens money, can we at least be told who these people are that stirred up Patterson to do this?
How do you spell JURY TAMPERING?
Warren's dog, Warren's temper, Warren's gun.......
Joe warren has had months to appear before these same grand jurors and form a relationship a la his role as the ADA. You can bet when all of this hit Little gave him even more opportunity to interact with them. this whole deal stinks and I do not see how my wife and I should have to pay for a man's temper tantrum.

This incident with Warren will not affect Patterson winning as sheriff in now way no how.
Lets get this out in the open, Henry Patterson and the Liberty County Sheriff's Office did the right thing. Joe Warren cleared, end of story.
Joe is as guilty as it gets. It's the grand jury that screwed up, not the Sheriffs Dept. Now we have a crooked criminal seeking to fill his pockets by sueing the county that he works for. Says a lot about his character doesnt it!!!
Joe Warren is lucky that the 185th Grand Jury out of Harris County didn't hear his case. Things may have gone differently for him and the D.A.'s Office. No rubber stamp for the 185th Grand Jury. Yeah baby!!!
Imagine a Grand Jury actually investigating the D.A.'s Office. If a Grand Jury puts a timeline and subpoena power to work. Little's office would never survive the Warren fiasco (cover-up).
Warren should have been put behind bars and the key thrown away!!! The grand jury was bought off or intimidated and there for set a guilty man free while they send innocent men and women to prison also with this same intimidation. No one accused of a crime that holds any office should be tried in their court house. There should be a change in venue in order for a fair trial to be done.
