I'm not one to make waves. I've never considered myself political. I'm just an average citizen that doesn’t understand how Liberty County can operate the way it does. Im outraged against those in the courthouse that can sit there and not protect the ones that need it most. My niece passed away 2yrs ago after sustaining injuries that she received when she was 2 months old. Her parents were charged and we have been involved in a legal battle for over 4 years with this. Now the DA comes to tell us that no one will be prosecuted due to mistakes made by the police. What?!? Are they telling me that I can commit a heinous crime and then get away with it because Liberty police are incompetent? Is there no justice for my niece? This little girl never got the chance to live. I can remember the day she was born and how perfect she was. Then we skip ahead 2 months and we get the call that will forever change our lives. We spent weeks in Texas Children's Hospital praying for God to do his will and those responsible to be held accountable. My niece was plagued with health issues and lay in a vegetative state for 2 years before God saw fit to take her home. Now Liberty County tells us, "Sorry, nothing can be done because we don’t have the evidence anymore." How can the DA possibly feel right about this? Can nothing be done? What about the next child that dies at the hand of the very people that should protect him/her? The people of Liberty County need to wake up and see what they have put in power in the courthouse.

DA Mike Little only pushes cases where he is performing vengeance for one of his political allies or against one of his personal and or political enemies. Stay tuned and watch his future history, you will feel much better about things. The guy is a real dirt-bag...
Mike Little has been a burnout for a long time. Mike Little should have been booted out of office a long time ago.
He has proven he is extremely corrupt, no one in Liberty County is safe with him in office.

Is it true that one of the people who was involved in mail tampering of your mail is Melvin Hunt's son-in-law?
Little earned my vote years ago but he as not had an opponent in recent years and he has become someone I no longer recognize. Many of those closest to him in the early years agree. I encourage any local lawyer with experience and a good reputation who loves fairness and justice to consider running.
Little has NEVER had an opponent! He was appointed to the position of DA back in the 80's when he worked for Don Taylor (now Judge Don Taylor) in his family law firm. Appointed and never had an opponent in close to 30 years. Pretty sweet, don't you think?
So we have Don Taylor to thank for the corruption visited upon us by Mike Little. I notice this coming Tuesday that Mike Little's henchman are asking for a raise. These people who work with and for Little should have pay taken from them not increased, they are some of the highest paid Liberty County employees. What gives them the right to make even more money? All while they persecute Mike Little's enemies for him.
Yes you can blame Don Taylor for Mike Little, and countless other acts against the people of liberty county. Thankfully, Taylor is not running again--hummm, i'd like to hear the real reason for him not seeking Judge again! I figure the Law Enforcement and Citizens of Liberty County can dance with joy that he is not running--what a "Im God" attitude he developed. Thankfully, all he is, is just another low life crooked dirtbag we wont have to vote out of office.
Techanically, we have nothing to thank Don Taylor for. The person, or agency, who got him to not run for office again, now there's someone to thank!
After this election I will get my wish.....to voice my opinion by voting against people like Barack Obama and Mike Little.
Mike Little may be on his way out, with this request for a pay increase. What a bunch of greedy thieves. Maybe he needs a pay increase to pay his new higher property taxs in Liberty County, thanks to our Appraisal Disrict. This Appraisal District is a cover up for all the Taxing Districts so they won't be ridiculed for raising their tax rates.
Yet another injustice carried out by Liberty County justice system. Don't know if the sheriff dept or city was investigating, but if it was the city I know why nothing happened. Their lead detective(Chip)was forced out of the sheriff's dept because of "things" like this happening.I'm still wondering who had what on whom in order for him(Chip)to be able to get a job in law enforcement anywhere much less in Liberty county.With his past record of juvenile actions he should not even be considered for dog catcher."They" say he has an uncanny way of getting inside a criminals mind.I say the reason he can do that is because he himself is a criminal.It just hasn't been discovered by the "right" people yet.
