Republicans like Sean Parnell, the Governor of Alaska, have a common sense balanced approach to how government should deal with the conflict between the environment and economic concerns. Articulating our passion for taking care of our natural resources and for prioritizing our need for energy should be an area Republicans do better in in the future. We hunt; we fish, we drive trucks and cars; and we should not allow the Democrats to demonize us as many of their policies would more than double our electric bills.

Taking an important issue like protecting our wildlife and our lakes and streams and using it to help the government grow bigger and more invasive in our lives is one thing, but people like the Democrats' nominee for Governor of Texas, Bill White, will help Barack Obama to pass legislation that will tax oil and gas so much our electric bills will triple. Most of us will be almost immediately struggling to make it from paycheck to paycheck because of these people demogoguing the environmental issue to get votes and then using their election to claim a mandate to pass policies that value the lifestyle of a few spotted owls over my kids' lifestyle and using their power to value people in foreign countries to the detriment of all of us.

Texans and Alaskans take care of the land and wildlife better than people in Massachusetts and Illinois. They do not know what they are talking about. And Bill White is just like Obama. He says whatever he has to to get elected.......

You are an idiot. One of these men is a Pastor leading a church and a major clean up and restoration of a community. One of these men has, and always has, business interests in various states. And one of these men is on vacation visiting family. As for roaches, though you may keep company with rats, you are poor at spotting other filthy little creatures.
