I told you several weeks ago about observing some strange behavior outside of one of the houses of a local Republican activist. I hope you listened and have been acting on my tip.
The recent international phone-hacking scandal controversy involving British tabloid newspapers has really waked me up as to how invasive someone can be if they are there is enough at stake. Employees of some of the British media were accused of engaging in phone hacking and obtaining illicit information by bribing police officers and exercising improper influence on politicians and the police.
It is the stories surrounding this scandal that really should alert anyone who is questioning or in opposition to people in power in Liberty County. Reports have talked about all kinds of surveillance equipment. It would not be unusual for instance, for some of the enemies of LD to have access to equipment that would allow them to sit in a vehicle around the corner and monitor telephone calls and computer activity. It would be illegal to do without a search warrant but when you’re dealing with criminals, I doubt that would shock anyone.
Also, have you all considered that your telephones or you computers may have been compromised? The reports I saw indicated this could be checked out. I don’t want to be conspiracy theorists that are alarmists, but I really would like corruption in this county to come to an end and for the messengers to be vindicated.

yes, they want us to boycott the businesses that "trash" our neighborhoods. ABSOLUTELY! This includes the Advocate, throwing unsolicited papers in our driveways- and we're NON SUBSCRIBERS! It's litter, pure and simple, and MEGA trashy!

how about a story about a local business man coming up with a plan to steal in plain sight.
open your mind and listen to the following skimming scheme.
lets say a person has a business in which they haul salt water from fluid storage faciilites that contain salt water and oil from local wells.
lets say that when called to haul off the salt water to a storage well the person or persons open the valve from the oil storage tank and take on a few barrels of oil at the same time they are pulling water off another tank.
lets say the person hauls the oil and salt water mix to their own tank battery.
lets say that oil floats on top of the water and as the level of fluid in the tank rises the person is able to skim the stolen oil off the top into a different tank.
lets say that after a few weeks of performig this scheme the person accumulates 100 barrels of stolen oil.
lets say 100 barrels of stolen oil at $100 a barrel equates to $10,000.
lets say this process is accelerated to 200 or 300 barrels of oil.
like i said. stealing in plain sight.
Very easily done. Maybe some help from the gauger too. This way the gauger can make his records reflect that the oil that is missing,is not actually missing. Of coarse he also gets his cut out of the oil sale too.
