In 2008 Liberty Dispatch was very proactive in the promotion of Henry Patterson because he was the Republican challenger to then alleged corrupt Liberty County Sheriff, Greg Arthur. Last election, Liberty Dispatch and its supporters openly supported Liberty County Sheriff candidate, Henry Patterson and later Patterson was elected.
Fast forward to now... Unfortunately, Patterson acts a lot like Liberty County Chairman, Lester Ray Wisegerber when it comes to 'real' party allegiance and turns a blind eye to the corruption in Liberty County. Patterson seems to be fully engaged in protecting his own existence and has turned his back on those who have helped elect him.
As of this date, because of the above reasons, Patterson appears to only be a one term Sheriff. Unless something changes, Liberty Dispatch and it's supporters can no longer support this Sheriff and looks forward to a replacement candidate in the 2012 election.
Henry Patterson should resign and place Chief, James Cooper in his stead. Chief, James Cooper is a man of great integrity and honesty. Chief position should then be filled by Kenny Dagle.

Good point, I agree whole hardheartedly. Even Mr. Integrity, Bobby Rader has turned his back on the corruption in Liberty County and against the people and the true believers in his party.
Looking the other way is as bad as perpetrating the corruption, and that includes you Patterson.
I agree, this election is a perfect opportunity to to get rid of the scum and hopefully get some new people elected with some ethics. Politics is changing, those people you list who are corrupt are going to have to PROVE they are not corrupt if they want to stay in office.

I agree with you about Patterson. I think he is a one term Sheriff. He has done nothing to improve the Sheriff Department. Most of the people he should have fired to begin with, quit of their own free will. I dont think he had the guts to fire anyone. He is a go along, get along type of person.
I am hearing that summons from Federal Court in Beaumont have been sent out to some of these people on this list. Is there any truth to this rumor? If it is true, it sure took long enough for these investigators to do their job.

James Carson a good man?!!! Ask the women, men and kids after enforcer 4 used those women ans busted up there families. Used your tax dollars and county equipment to carefully hunt and @+"! them and his badge to shut them up. Helped fellow enforcers do it too. But regular officers hate him for bad reputuation and rules being different four him. its a good guy cop act, he's only good at two things @+"!ing and schemeing so being corrupt,may make him a good sheriff but not a good man. So he's butt kissing or....you. Better believe he hopes after turning on all his buddies to Patterson that he's not still on Patterson's hit list, his party power and man hood would be gone.

Some commisoner he is! Can't even dig out the ditches so the Farmers in Eastgate can have good drainage so far as to where the water backs up into the field which kills crops! Some good he does! HAH!
