Local Liberty attorney, Mr. Mark Morefield (R), is set to run as the Republican candidate for the 75th Judicial District Judge's position. The current office holder for the 75th Judicial Position is Carrol Thomas Hight (D). Allegations abound concerning the judicial misconduct, conspiracy, official misconduct, corruption and ethics violations concerning Carrol Thomas Hight and his father in law, Lester Ray Wisegerber.
Mr. Morefield brings tough, no nonsense conservative values and a strong ethic to the race for the 75th Judicial Position. His candidacy, like Tommy Chambers' (R) candidacy, brings new hope to Liberty County for an honest, open and ethical Liberty County.

Julie Cain would complete a strong ticket for the Republican Party. Her natural demeanor would lend to make me believe she would be a great District Attorney. It is true she ran for office before and was defeated in a close race, but her aggressive take no prisoners style is perfect ofr a DA. With DA experience and some gray hair, I can see her one day becoming a judge. If you have ever wondered why nothing ever seems to change in the smoke filled building known as the courthouse, it is because of DA Mike Little. He started out seeming like a great replacement for Judge WG Woods, but has sents become so political in his approach to deciding about who should be prosecuted that he is perhaps the single biggest problem that needs to be fixed in the courthouse.
I am surprised at your support for Chambers. He is one of the crooked good ole boys. Liberty County has seen enough of the likes of him. -32-
I will be voting for Mark Morefield. It is time to get the same good ole boys out, that have made a career out of political offices in Liberty County. This bunce always promotes their relatives after they have retired. Most of them are related to past elected officials that have stayed in office for years. Lets show them the door, come election time.
Few people know that Mark Morefield is a distinguished Vietnam Veteran, as well as a distinguished lawyer. He does not wear his honors on his sleeve; however, he is known for his patriotism, hardwork and dedication to excellence. If we elect Morefield as Judge, we can be sure that his conservative, hardworking principles will improve our court system.
