The press release in question is from none other than (figurehead) Joe Warren Investigator and Harris County Sheriff Candidate Louis Taylor Guthrie.
Apparently Guthrie decided he needed some positive press without Liberty County Sheriff Henry Patterson's approval.
A local Liberty County news outlet initially posted the press release but then after checking out the strange press release found that it was not an authorized LCSO release and pulled it.
Sources indicate that Guthrie’s press release was a “rogue unauthorized press release” staged as a promotion gimmick for his up and coming run for Harris County Sheriff.
Liberty Dispatch wonders if the proverbial rats are leaving Sheriff Patterson’s sinking ship when his own people are creating their own press releases. Liberty County Sheriff Henry Patterson's "campaign death spiral" continues.

For Immediate Release:
On November 17th, 2011, the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Dayton, TX in reference to a disturbance involving firearms. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered the disturbance was also narcotics related. The Special Crimes and Narcotics Unit was dispatched to the scene and once inside the residence, Deputies found illegal narcotics including methamphetamine and several hundred prescription pills, two firearms with missing serial numbers and over $72,000 in cash. One suspect, whose identity is not being released at this time, was arrested on scene. The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, who works closely with Federal Agencies, advised that the case would be prosecuted at the federal level.
Director Louis Guthrie stated, “If you are involved in the illegal sale of narcotics, you will be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law”.

I heard this guy Guthrie is one of the outsiders according to what Showbegger says.
Maybe guthrie can be the Liberty County sheriff office pastor, oh excuse me that would be Pastor and investigator Cliff William.
This clearly shows that Henry Patterson has no control over the sheriffs department in liberty county.
I think its was a great campaign ad by Guthrie. My bug question about his press release is... what is Guthrie a "director" of?

Liberty County sheriff's office is a 3 ring circus.
Not only is our fearless leader/sheriff asleep at the wheel, he is allowing all the people who work for him to run a muck. This who scenario is very disturbing.
Thats why the Outsiders were able to take over the sheriff's office so easily, a weak sheriff. Patterson does not only need to not run for sheriff, he needs to step down immediately.

Looks like another load of money that will not be accounted for or put into an unknown account somewhere. It could have been $172,000 for all we know. Henry is setting at the cafe in Cleveland while the Sheriff's Dept. in Liberty runs itself. Looks like the LCSO has been moved to Cleveland.
Most of the LCSO are hard working good law enforcement professionals, but the leadership has someholes in it.
Could you please run pictures of some of these people so parents can steer their children and pets away from them?
At one time I thought it was unpatriotic to criticize law enforcement. I have changed my mind.i would hate to be working for these people and watching them eat their breakfasts and redirect manpower to help thier politics while my butt was on the line fighting dangerous criminals.
Any more on Henry's son-in-law, Chris Minx? Has he been banging on LD's door demanding to post a free political ad for his pop-in-law? Did we ever hear if tehre is a money connection between him and Patterson's slush fund?

I am voting for Henry Patterson. I am a long time readr and have been a fan of this website, but I do not see why the fact Eddie Shauberger is a supporter of Henry Patterson has been such a big deal on here. Mr. Shauberger has been seen with Sheriff Patterson and they are obviously good friends. I have seen that with my own eyes. SO WHAT!?
So let me get this straight, the friend Richard Pegues stood by through bankruptcies, through allegtions of child molestation, and through criminal indictment .... this man began threatening Richard's family because he wants Henry Patterson elected .....and he has hooked up with this Valdez man who is the guy writing all kinds of nasty stories about people in Liberty. And it does not trouble you when you see the sheriff and Eddie buddying around.
Benedict Arnold was a friend of George washington's and Washington appointed Arnold to be the commander at West Point even after Arnold had been disciplined by the congress. Arnold stabbed Washington in the back for money and becuase he resented his character had been challenged.
Pegues is no Washington, but I can see Fat Eddie in a movie as Benedict Arnold.
You left out that Benedict arnold was wounded at the battle of Saratoga and Washington with holes in many of his clothes and horse shot out from underneath him and all kinds of ugly things said about him by the British, never was scratched. Nobody alive today is a Washington, but people like eddie are a dime a dozen. They are jealous and vindictive and will attack anyone to get what they want.
Sometimes it is good to take the trash out early so you don't haveto be concerned with it. Consider what I am saying.
