Yesterday afternoon, September 28, 2011, between the hours of 2:00p.m. and 4:00p.m., Deputies from the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit along with Investigators from the LCSO Cleveland Station worked together in locating and apprehending several wanted Felons in the Cleveland area of Liberty County.

The following two Felons were wanted for Felony Retaliation in regards to alleged threats / actions made towards other person(s). This particular case involved the Tarkington area Burglaries which were solved earlier this month by LCSO Investigators. Those two individuals have been identified as Rucker, Decoris and Shedd, Clifton of Cleveland. While in the process of making these arrests an additional person was arrested for Hindering the Apprehension of a Known Felon. This individual has been identified as Bowie, Amber of Cleveland.

Deputies continued to search the Cleveland area for another wanted Felon. This individual was also located and apprehended. His identity has been listed as Sparta, Richard, a convicted sex offender who was released recently from the Texas Department of Corrections, Institutional Division for the offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault of Child. Mr. Sparta was arrested yesterday for the Felony offense of Retaliation against his victim after his recent release.

At the time of this information release, all bonds had been set at $15,000.00. Deputies from the LCSO Crime Suppression Unit are stepping up their efforts to locate and apprehend wanted Felons in Liberty County. A high priority has been set for all Sex Offenders, including those who fail to register as required by State Law. Additionally, any person who is arrested for a criminal offense and said person makes any kind of threat against a victim or witness is subject to the Felony criminal charge of Retaliation.

In just a couple of hours’ time, the LCSO had successfully located and apprehended three wanted Felons, placing them into the Liberty County Jail. The additional charge for Hindering was a direct result of this operation and persons should note, any attempt to conceal or hinder the apprehension of any wanted fugitive is a crime which you can be charged and booked into jail.

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating any wanted Felon or Sex Offender who has failed to register hiding in Liberty County. Should anyone know the whereabouts of a wanted Felon or un-registered you are urged to please contact the LCSO at (936) 336-4500 or at their web-site www.libertytxsheriff.com . As a reminder, the LCSO cautions the public, please, never attempt to detain or apprehend any wanted Felon, you should contact the LCSO or your local Law Enforcement Agency immediately for assistance.

Shedd and Ruckers are two punk kids and if they really want to stop the thrreats from this kind of big mouth criminal types, the Bonds should be set higher.

Cleveland Texas needs a comprehensive if they ever want to end their reputation as the armpit of southeast Texas. Teachers and administrators are hardly surprised by the nmaes of their students and former students appearing in the media for serious crimes. When young peoples' names from other parts of the county appear in the media, that community is shocked. It is too routine for Cleveland's youth to get in this kind of trouble. Since potential problems can be so easily identified in Cleveland, this should be the starting point of pro-activity. If this county wants to stop the culture of criminality that is so common and so consistent in Cleveland, law enforcement and schools and parents should get serious and take action before the young people get sucked into thinking like hoodlums. Talk is cheap!

Kids these days get too many chances before any consequences are put on their plates. These youth are perfect examples. this ain't their first rodeo!

Cat and mouse. All it is is a cat and mouse game for some of these juveniles. Until we get a county attorney and a district attorney that is not afraid to look a clueless parent in the eye and tell them "too bad, we have to protect this community from your boy", citizens's houses will continue to be robbed, their daughters will be raped, and the schools will be hard for even the best professionals in the business to be led to be successful.

I am sick and tired of the little girly acting blogger that talks bad about anything Republican. He is the most anti-law enforcement person I know outside of prison.

Amen to the comment about Youngblood. But my question is why Republicans have his website advertised on their party's website.

Possible answers: "attempted appeasement" or "just plain stupidity" or "a payoff for certain people for when they need a favor".

I have no theory as to why i-dineout.com is on the Republican website but there are a few people in our party who would leave it on there just because this website says it should go. You deserve credit for helping change this county and some people do not like that you have an effect. So what do they do? Well they advertise our enemy's website, what else?

There is a disconnect from reality by some who have just started helping in the Republican party. They think that since winning started when they started baking cookies for meetings that they have changed our world. The Democrat will win again if these people are not reigned in.

Some of our people do not know much and they do not realize that bad politicians don't mind putting on the elephant hat instead of the donkey hat as long as they get a key to the vault.

Cleveland is Patterson country.

Liberty County is Bobby Rader county.

Ut oh!

Cleveland was Patterson Country. Bradshaw is running things at Cleveland now and he has run the police department into the ground. Patterson is the Sheriff and has fulfilled his oath of office and campaign promises, like it or not.

Does Bobby Rader still employ Vita O'Reilly in his JP office? Bobby Rader is a good man in many ways but putting Greg Arthur's girl friend to work in his office was a real dumb move.

yep bradshaw sure has run the depaqrtment in the ground thats why CPD has more advanced equipment than any other law enforcemnt agency in liberty county and the police department has this without any expense to the city budget or tax payers. not a dime. but yet he is still burned at the stake.

well, not exactly. Some parts of the department aren't 'run in the ground'. Some parts of the department are run into a couch or motel room! Where's Clinton, and those 'taste good' cigars?
