LOCAL LIBERTY ATTORNEY TO RUN IN CHAMBERS COUNTY- RICHARD BAKER, A DONKEY IN ELEPHANT SKIN

Just when you think you have heard everything in politics, Richard Baker considers throwing his hat in the political ring again. AS A REPUBLICAN!!! That is right, a Republican.

If Richard Baker is seriously considering running for District Judge in Chambers County, he must be banking on the fact that the county does not have a dominant media outlet that will effectively expose him as a sold out Al Gore/Hillary Clinton/Barack Obama Democrat. Baker must hope slipping an elephant carcass over his infamous donkey torso in a short primary season in a county that is heavily affected in elections by people who drive into Houston and don’t know their candidates as well as most rural counties will be enough to win.

There are many examples of Baker’s unrepentant love for Democrats and the philosophy of the Democrat party, but his most recent overt political action speaks volumes. Baker joined Obama in trying to strengthen the Democrat Party cause when he ran a failed campaign as a Democrat trying to defeat the conservative Supreme Court Justice of Texas. But there are plenty of other ties. Baker is one of the lawyers practicing in the building where recently embarrassed former District Judge C.T. Hight stored law books stolen out of the courthouse. Baker’s ties to Hight and to the godfather of the Democrat Party in Liberty County are deep and inseparable.

Conservatives are encouraging Randy McDonald to run for Judge Carroll Wilburn’s seat. He has displayed a far better grasp of the law and does not have the type of liberal baggage Baker has. The contrast between his even tempered nature and the hot tempered vindictive partisanship of Baker is like night and day.

Liberty Dispatch has far more respect for donkeys that are proud to be donkeys than donkeys who try to deceive people into thinking they are elephants. Baker is a big donkey and should be satisfied to run his race as a donkey. But Baker is unlikely to act in any manner that resembles a person who has integrity. He just wants power no matter what it takes to get it. He and his little lawyer nest is used to having a special connection in the courthouse and they will be jumping through hoops to re-incarnate CT Rusty High in Chambers County.

But none of that will work. The more people that meet hot-headed Baker subdued by his need for votes, the more votes it will cost him. The more people who meet McDonald, the more votes McDonald will get. Voters will sense sincerity and the lack of sincerity. The only chance Baker has to win is if he can talk McDonald into leaving Texas him for four months.

What next? Kinky Friedman running as a Republican?

Baker has a win at all cost mentality. He has the same view of practicing law. He is as good at law as he is politics. NOT!

I refuse to vote for any of the "if you can't beat em join em RINO's"........

I like Judge Wilburn. He must be sick at the idea of one of the Zbranek clan sitting on the bench where he has served with such distinction.

short, bald, fat, and not good at what he does - so what is not to like?

Lemon law and retired folks and travel trailer and the Charlie Sheen idea of WINNING! Eh Zebo?

You could not overstate how surprising it is to hear Richard is running as a Republican. Shame on you Richard. Zeke must be turning in his grave.

Richard Baker is nothing like his pal Zeb Zbranek. Zeb is a pencil necked weasel. RB is fat weasel. Zeb can't argue his way out of a paper bag. RB can't argue his way into a paper bag. Zeb is a Ted Kennedy Democrat.RB is a Nancy Pelosi Democrat. While Zeb only talks tough in dark out of the way places, RB is scared of the dark. Zeb is Laurel, RB is Hardy.

If a hurricane comes Zeb is too skinny to blow away and Baker is too fat, but both are screamers.

MEGA NEWSFLASH: duhhhNesa herself, CONFIRMS it....

yes, the demotion is real, and the writing is .... done ELSEWHERE!!!

"Cleveland Advocate Linda, our sports is not handled locally anymore. Sports is now overseen by a regional sports team. I've emailed them the email you sent me this morning. You should hear from them soon. - Vanesa"

yes, that's story # 2's comments (to Linda Stuckey's question) on her facebook page:

BUSTED>>>>>

I just knew that C.P.R.D. (chronic proof reading dysfunction) would be her downfall, eventually. lmao

Anonymous said...

to BUSTED>>>>: what if somebody started a "local" paper in Cleveland or Dayton since they don't have one anymore? lmao

What if every HCN community did the same?

LD you missed the big story; It wasn't Vanesa being demoted. It was the EXTINCTIONS of the local newspapers THEMSELVES, being all absorbed into the regional conglomerate- "yourHoustonNews" formerly Houston Community Newspapers and hcnonline. (same thing that happened to local radio stations, that could broadcast into any major city market. They got absorbed into conglomerates, to CONTROL what was heard and marketed.)

The following papers no longer exist, save their front page logo (all are written, produced, edited, and ads sold- REGIONALLY- as yourHoustonNews formerly Houston Community newspapers):

Cleveland Advocate
Dayton news
Eastex Advocate
Lake Houston Observer
Atascocita Observer
Humble Observer
Kingwood Observer

All have the same content, and no local staff. Only the front page logo is varied, to make the false appearance that they still exist. The ads are sold at the corporate offices on Beltway 8.

R.I.P

Dayton News and Advocates
All four Observer papers:
(Lake Houston, Humble,
Atascocita and Kingwood)

Grabbed their rags and logo's too. Copyright's no longer yours. Once their ads and fans they snitched; then their staff, they all got ditched!!!

All your bucks, to Houston goes.
Really hidden, no-one knows.
Have a story? No-one shows.
Beltway office runs the show.

Region runs it, this is TRUE.
Conglomerate has eaten YOU.

Richard Baker smells too much like Zeb Zbranek for me. Zeb is a slimy snake who is such a joke for an attorney. We used to laugh in the courtroom when Angela would come with him to argue his case for him. Judge would say, "Now the real attorney is here." Baker is a wanna be and has no regard for the law...just wants to win. He would make a HORRIBLE judge.

Baker must have seen how successful Democrats were when running as Republicans in Liberty County.

LAUGHIN' TIME AGAIN!!!

Eastex Advocate (I mean, that's extinct, the yourHoustonnews/eastex) arrived, unsolicited, on my driveway today.

As expected, in 15 pages, there's exactly two ads from Shepherd/Coldspring: Coldspring Farm and Ranch, and Coldspring Church of Christ....

The rest of the ads were out of town, out of county, and useless. Several from Dayton (now, WHO drives from Coldspring to Dayton, to shop.) Several others were from Houston, and had no chance of attracting customers (Do YOU drive 70 miles to purchase flowers)??

Save your bucks, and boycott the rag. Better still, use the local papers: San Jacinto News Times, or McClain's.

I'll quit exposing the scam, when they quit littering my driveway with it.

Poor Zeb......he is a lawyer wanna be. I sure am glad my ex used him in our divorce. My attorney made him look like Bozo the clown.....lol

Hey Baker, come out and playyyeaaaa...

Anonymous said...

that's what Vanesa says: Hey little Wheeler, come out and playyyeaaaa...

and, I say that the 'ten minute video' is an exaggeration, if not outright wishful thinking!

Ray you better watch out, Mike Little will indict you again for going after one of his Democrat friends, just like he did with Rusty Hight.

Whats going on in the Michael Blue case, the Mike Little fudge packer case?

Anonymous said...

Yes, inquiring minds want to know is Mike Little going to get Dan Bradley to defend him too? Just like Joe Warren?

Anonymous said...

They are thick as thieves.

I went to school with Baker and his brother. They haven't changed. The sh** always seems to float to the top

Chambers County, you can have Mike Little after the next election. We are thru with him here in Liberty County. He has bungled enough cases here to last us a lifetime.

Vanesa: dennis creamed you again! lmao

Little short fat snake Baker.... He can't win for losing. Now he is trying to get enough money to send his kids to school so he decides to sue the Texas General Land office for Oliver Smart over submerged state lands that Smart thinks he owns. Use Smart's money but don't count your chickens before they hatch. I am sure the GLO State of Texas attorney's have a little in store for you. Try and play with the big boys and you will get trumped again and again....
