Dear Liberty Dispatch

Sometimes it appears that Vanesa Brashier, Allen Youngblood, and Bill Buchanan are all pieces of the same media cover up operation. But who really knows the truth when it is obvious they look for any information to validate what they want the truth to be. For example, if you risk confusing the truth with spin and read the little local food/car wreck/gossip blog then you know she called KHOU TV CHANNEL 11 and asked who notified them. When CHANNEL 11 said it was the LCSO (according to the lady at i-dineout), they stopped their investigation.

CHANNEL 13 clearly indicated on their website that they were notified about this event by Vanesa Brashier, editor of both The Dayton News and The Cleveland Advocate. Were they called in the “investigation” by local media to find out how this story spread to so many news outlets? There is no telling how many places this “new story” spread just from this one phone call of Vanesa Brashier’s.

Years of this kind of reporting by our local newspapers and our local radio station make me wonder if psychics are where we are getting most of our local news most of the time. These are “news” outlets that have paid sponsors and paid staffs of people and claim to have no political orientation? But here we see them confirming their theories by calling the least likely people to expose a truth different from the way they hope it to be.

No wonder this courthouse has been so filthy for so many years. The people the Constitution gives freedom to investigate and comment on political corruption, THE PRESS, have not only failed, they have been part of the problem.

The question remains: Why has Vanesa Brashier and the rest of the little media suck ups NOT done news reports on allegations Liberty Dispatch has posted. Let them debunk them or let them confirm them, but silence… It is not acceptable.

Did you notice how many days it took for Youngblood to report McClelland's retirement? The courthouse has been buzzing with people talking about him telling them about it, but Youngblood is either to pitiful at his job or he defers to politicians and would not report it until his buddies told him to. Buchanan will be even later to the game. They are suck ups, not reporters.

I read the news channel's website taht gave Mrs. Brashier credit for calling them. Who is saying otherwise.they are wrong if they are saying otherwise.

Isn't it her job to network and share news with other people so she can get news?

"NEWS", not psychic readings!!!!

Corruption could have been ended years ago but no news people had the skills or the wherewithal to investigate and report what they should have known. They all reported scandals when almost everyone would have heard about them anyway.

When John Archer knew Republicans were about to publicly question the circumstances surrounding Janet Harrelson's son's transfer from a Beaumont prison to a Dayton prison Bill Buchanan was quick to help clean up the Democrats' mess. that kind of stuff is the only thing they do. Help stop the bleeding.

Nojoke. Did we ever even hear the local media ask what Toby Wilurn expected to hear when he and his friends planted lsitening devices in the courthouse. Heck no. We were expected to forget that those men risked everything to record something they thought was going on in the courthouse. The media here has been a joke.

The local media in Liberty County? You call that car wreck blog and radio station news? Who the heck listens or watches either one.

News Media.HA HA. You can get better news on facebook than some of these local (supposedly) news media. I am wondering why McClelland resigned his office before the elections. Why didn't he finish out his term and just tell eveyone he was retiring. Does he have a medical problem, something to hide,or just fed up with his job.

Bleeding heart liberal media in a small Texas town have to do everything under the radar. Youngblood and Brashier are true liberals. Buchanan leans heavy left but will kiss whoever's ass he needs to in order to help his elitist ruling class crew.

She smiles, she shakes hands and is cordial, she writes nice little pro community articles, she can be funny - but IS SHE A NEWSPAPER EDITOR! NO!! She lacks the ability to separate herself from friendships with certain powerful people and therefore she has no objectivity and will not report things going on that are harmful to her readers.

Saw our sheriff Rex Evans on TV never knew who our sheriff was before the channel 2 story.

Its funny so far how none of he news services want to lay this at Vanesa's feet. She wanted this to be her crowning glory.

In this case, it wasn't just faulty reporting in Liberty. When it comes down to the whole tip story, I had recorded the original updates from both Fox and KHOU, and they played into the hype just as bad as anyone else did, without knowing the facts. Nobody bothered to mention that this tipster was a self professed psychic, or nut job prophet. This makes me uncomfortable.

We have news outlets reporting rumor and "predictions" as fact, now? I'd expect this out of Liberty County's many crappy glorified blogs, but not out of legitimate news stations. Well, I take that back, I expect some of it from Fox, as they frequently report false information as fact, and don't bother to fix it.... But the other news stations? It was all about hype, and I am disappointed.

No, with McClelland lies and deceit made to the Outsiders he did not wish to face the music! With the documentation showing his deceit…and the people he was publically connected with, he could see the handwriting on the wall. It was time to step down.

just to be contrary: since when is lying to the Outsiders, or deceiving them, a crime?

"Documentation showing his deceit" of political activists (Outsiders)? same question. What crime is involved? What criminal statute has been violated? Isn't that equal to lying to a microchip? No harm, no foul.

Ditto, for "people he was publically (original poster's spelling, not mine) connected with." Unless one is a convicted felon, or has probation which prohibits association with 'known criminals,' I can't find a statute that's been violated. Help, here?

NEWSFLASH: and PLEASE don't publish this one until Tuesday, when the paper's already put to bed (immortalizing it in print- giggle)

DuhhhNesa, the duhhh-Chess of Dumbass has advanced CPRD (chronic proof reading dysfunction) to a newly discovered species: the inability to read, digest, and utilize a calendar. Yes, faithful LD readers, in a single piece- she proclaims that June 25th happens on both a Saturday and a Sunday this year. ROFL

Sadly, her usual mental warps appear to have evolved into a time warp as well... see:

http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/cleveland/news/article_4f0561c2-aaee-54b2-bf56-a60b1f284f7a.html

Possible explanation: Did she cause her own mental time warp by searching out last year's picture of the event (or by publishing so many of Glen Dodson's remember whatever, way back when, who gives a rip, articles)? lol
