Nigeria to charge Cheney in pipeline bribery scandal - ALLEGED

MSNBC-

“LAGOS — Nigeria's anti-corruption police said on Thursday they planned to file charges against former Vice President Dick Cheney in a $180 million bribery case involving a former unit of oil services firm Halliburton.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday summoned the country chief of Halliburton and last week detained 10 Nigerian and expatriate Halliburton staff for questioning after raiding its Lagos office.

"We are filing charges against Cheney," EFCC spokesman Femi Babafemi told Reuters, but declined to give any further details on what the charges were, or where they would be filed.”

Presidential elections in Nigeria are well underway. Apparently, in the election, both candidates are doing their best to have the other arrested or implicated in some crime. Just like Nigeria, corrupt Liberty County prosecutors use the indictment process to eliminate or gain an advantage over their political adversaries. Fortunately for Liberty County citizens, corrupt officials and their actions will soon be revealed.

Dick Cheney is guilty of nothing more that being a successful business person and tough on enemies of the USA. The companies Cheney is affiliated with such as Halliburton have contributed greatly to the Houston, Texas and world economies.

The only thing Nigeria is known for is the millions of dollars they have defrauded and scammed from Americans.

This charge by the Nigerians is nothing more than a way to shake down Hallburton and/or Mr. Cheney for money and to damage Obama's political enemies- Conservatives/Republicans.

ten years ago Democrats made partisan decisions about redistricting our commissioners precinct lines that were harmful to the county but good for them. Those decisions can be revisited in meetings that could start in a few short weeks. I hope LD will weigh in on this timely issue.

Im no big Cheney fan but, I see there is politics and money as a motivation for attacks on him. He has done more to punish the radical Muslims than anyone else, thanks Mr. Cheney.

Obama and his Nigerian cronies are about as useful as the corrupt democrats left in the Liberty County courthouse.

It will be interesting to see how Obama handles this "international incident". Cheney is far from being a bleeding heart liberal, for that he is systematically demonized by the left. Liberty Dispatch will be here in support of Mr. Cheney during this attack upon him and our party.

We need to keep our TAX money at home, where it belongs and let this bunch of welfare begging Nigerians fend for themselves. Every time something happens to these bunch of do nothing beggers, our covernment jumps into action and sends them millions of dollars of our TAX money to help them. These Countries have never repayed this money nor ever helped our Country when we have disasters happen here. Cut off this bunch of beggers and help the people here at home.
