There were cries for people to be nice when arguing about hwat to do with King George III leading up to the American Revolution. there are cries today for people to be nice when arguing about the healthcare bill and the stimilus bill. There are cries for people around here to be nice when it comes to Republicans running against Democrats. And I am sure at times it may have gotten uglier than it should have in all of those cases. But PLEASE realize if a person's contribution to any of these debates is to create the kind of peace that makes it more difficult for George Washington to get volunteers to join the army or it makes people sleep through the healthcare debate or if it allows local people with sleazy backgrounds to defeat a Republican (and hinders the dismantlement of the base of the Democrat's political strength), then that person is effectively working for the other side. One third of American colonists sat back during the American revolution and wished for a nicer way to settle things. The war lasted six years because these people contributed little else.
I guess some will just have to be mad at me. I say look into everyone of the lives of these elected officials and expose any baggage, personal or otherwise,that they have. Voters deserve to know what kind of person is willing to bankrupt this country. Voters deserve to know about the affairs of people who are willing to abort millions of babies. Those people who don't want this to become personal need to go hold their children or grandchildren and hide in the closet until we finish this fight.
I agree. And the fight should include every part of the Democrat party machine. From the President to ACORN to the little old man running for dog catcher on the Democrat's ticket.
I learned something this week. If you are a pro life Democrat, you are just there for window dressing or to win power in an area where they can't get a baby killer in office.
It is not just abortion, Dude. The crazies will now take the reigns of the Democrat party whenever they want something badly enough. The moderates are there just to make the party appear sane.
I learned something interesting in this week's politics. Less than 10% of Democrats in the House of Representatives are even a little serious about being pro-life. I did not know it was so few.
