Liberty County Democrat Judge, Candidate Residence
(No one at trailer)
When cornered by the media about the residency of their County Judge candidate, Democratic Party leadership played what they perceived to be their trump card. Democrats declared that since Democratic Party County Chairman Nancy Archer and the County Executive Committee are standing by their Democratic primary winner for County Judge, Mr. Ken Morrison, little else matters. “It is kind of like you always heard, a grand jury can indict a ham sandwich”, one of Archer’s Executive Committee explained (referring to and pointing with both hands to Morrison) he is our ham sandwich.”
Ken Morrison may indeed be found to be a legal resident of Liberty County as far as his eligibility to run for office is concerned, but the attitude expressed by the party that has dominated our county politics has been revealed. First they need to realize it is wrong for any grand jury to take the attitude that they have adopted. A grand jury should indict people based on the facts, not based on a political vendetta, and not based on the idea that they can get away with almost anything or from the pressure of a corrupt district attorney. Indicting anyone they want, even a “ham sandwich”, does not serve the public well.
Democrats have decided, according to their own Executive Committee, to place their “ham sandwich” on the ballot unless someone successfully sues to invalidate him. What a startling admission of the way these people wield the power the people of Liberty County have entrusted them with. Isn’t the message here something like this: “Can we do this and nobody can stop us unless they are willing to spend some money and can find a court to overrule us?”
This debate is all within Democratic Party circles and the Republican Party should be more than happy to face either Phil Fitzgerald with the ethical questions circling his head like buzzards or Ken Morrison who seems like he is very excited to go before voters as the Nancy Archer’s “ham sandwich”. Unfortunately, Republicans better brace themselves. To elect Ken Morrison and some of the other ham sandwiches they have nominated may mean a whole lot of negative campaigning. The word on the street is that the sour cheese for this ham sandwich could be ex-defeated Liberty County Sheriff, Greg Arthur. Time will tell…
After all, everyone knows where ham sandwiches come from.

Boy Liberty Dispatch has old man Buchanan ducking. He must not like you pointing out how he has created this political culture. Even though it didn't really fit in his "news story" the Buckster makes sure to distance himself from the good ole boy relationship he has had with John Archer when blurts out "I haven't even visited with John Archer in two years".
Well maybe he is mad about the break up and the way he gets back at Johnny Archer for not sending over all of the talking points on the Morrison is for him and his Tiffany to act out and point fingers.
Two years! It makes me want to cry that they were so close and they have gone that long. Of course what the person who commented left out was that Nancy Archer has been the Chairman of the Democratic party during that time and he has seen her all along.
I hate it when Billy and Johnny fight. There is plenty of pie to go around.
Please folks, don't miss the fact that Bill Buchanan admitted that John Archer gave him his statement and told him to read it on the air. And Bill did read it. Two things we should all take note of: One - the "culture LD wrote about looks like it included a Arcger Buchanan relationship that includes the assumption Bill will read Democratic talking points at Arcger's behest. Two - Bill's little "Don't worry, I am running this place" is meant to show us all he has not been the Archer's "boy" but his disclaimer can not erase his past. Archer sure did seem to assume his boy would air what he told him to.
Hahaha! Funny, but they do act like children. These two better stop arguing and remember little Kenny Morrison is in the pool and ham sandwiches can't swim.
Archer is an arrogant pompous ass. None of this is funny to me. He basically told the people of Liberty County he and Nancy would determine who could be a candidate and who would not because they were the chairmen.
There you go again John. You and your party treating us all like ham sandwiches. Your little cauldron of Democrats have already cited two residency situations/cases that indicate just the oppositeof your assertion that you and Nacy are the judge and jury on this. When your wife and Zack pointed to the Frank Corte situation where the question of residency would have to be determined by a court rather than the Republican party and then turn around and act like Democrats have no outside legal authority, you tell us a great deal about the idea of a kingdom you think you have here .... or as others put it, a culture.
Gee Ray and Eddie all this bragging by Dmocrats about how they can indict a ham sandwich and they can make a Kingwood man look like a resident must bring ot all home for you and your families. These people use power to build or destroy who they want to build or destroy. They sure will look stupid in Appeals court. Stupid at best.
I like the Nancy PELOSI Archer thing. She is drunk with power. Bill's nancy licks her lips occasionally like Barack's Nancy. Not as much but the Speaker does everything better.
If Ken Morrison is being called a ham sandwich by his own party it makes you look forward to hearing what they call Zack Zbranek. My wife calls him Olive Oil, but she has no idea of what kind of mudslinging her Olive Oil is capable of. The party may think of him as their Doberman.
It looks like Allen has been dining out over at the Archer's and he likes ham sandwiches. So Allen is John Archer's new gardener and he will clean the rows for Morrison ..... if he can.
IThat looks like one of the deer camps right there on the county line. Morrison's not that far from his Kingwood house when he visits this trailer.
You are right. Some people's property out in the most westward part of EastGate straddle both counties. I don't know he may can pull his trailer to the other side of his property and be back in Harris county.
I have been around Ken a few times now. He always seems so angry. When I saw this picture I noticed three POSTED NO TRESPASSING signs attached to trees and a fence post that were relatively close together. I hope if this guy is one of those anger management patients that he knows when you are county judge you can't lock your office and keep people out for long periods of time auntil you cool off. This is a job where you have to be friendly and interact and work with people.
That is too funny! So who is John Archer, Dr. Seuss?
My wife calls Zack Zbranek Olive Oil but after seeing this hillarious story where these bumbling Democrats call their own candidate a ham sandwich based off what Nancy Archer says was Zack Zbranek's referencing the Frank Corte case, I think we should call Zack "green eggs".
Then you have green eggs and ham....hahahhaha.
You Republicans are too worried about Morrison. Who cares where a candidate lives that is introduced by video to the worldwide web as "a ham sandwich" by his own party. Just get your water hose out and wash off whatever they throw at your candidate and stop whining. Texans hate carpetbaggers.
Poor ole Morrison's wife may be rolling her eyes when John and nancy Archer talk about the importance of Morrison's "intent" to build his retirement home. She can't feel very close to move-in day. The man looks like he hasn't mowed are cut down one tree or done anything to move his bride in anything but a travel trailer. The same one my son model by the way that my two sons and i meet at and deer hunt twice a year.
I noticed the note below the picture says "no one at trailer". How about leaving a camera in one of the trees like we do at our camp and checking this guy out?
Morrison has said if he wins he builds the house here, if he doesn't he is in no hurry.
I was visiting with an "older" friend this weekend, who remembered and refreshed the old Nixon campaign slogan from 1972 to fit the County Judge race.
"Never change Dick's in the middle of a screw, vote for Richard Morrison - November - 0 - 2!
I almost choked on my spaghetti! LOL
What a wonderful retirement site. All Ken needs now is water, electricity, sewer and a mail box. By the way, talking about sewer, how can he reside at this place without sewer? Where is Liberty County's Permits and sewer people at? May we ask if Ken has a permit for sewer and lights in order to reside at his new residence in Liberty County? Everyone else has to have the permits or you can not live there. Nancy and her group of cohorts think they can do whatever they want because they are in Liberty county and are in their protected Zone. I think the walls of their Protected Zone are beginning to crumble.
you endorse Wilburn and where does he live? I drove by his residence this past weekend and there is a tree thru his house. Thats who i want for my JP. Someone who can't take care of their own business.
I don't know about yall, but I think I will have the chopped Beef sandwich. (HAWK)
i hope someone still reads this thing....Whatever you do - don't let Ken Morrison near anything in your town if you care about it. He was my neighbor for 10 year (3 wives thru the house). This Glenda must be the 5th or 6th woman he has duped. Check those "jobs: he allegedly has. For almost 10 years he didn't do jack shit while his wife cleaned Kingwood houses to keep him at the deer lease.
Plus his son is a convicted rapist. Not surprising coming from that pieve of crap.
