Liberty Dispatch believes voters in Liberty County will not choose either of the two candidates on the Democratic Party platform and is satisfied to watch every Democrat in the county play lawyer in order to disqualify or qualify Ken Morrison as the candidate Democrats place on the November ballot. But the case that Nancy Archer says Zack Zbranek quoted is so radically different from Ken Morrison’s case here in Liberty County that it makes you wonder if Zbranek has studied the case he cited or any other election law.In the case Zack points to Texas Democrats realized that they have fielded a mediocre opponent who could in no way successfully match up against Republican. Frank Corte’s 16 years of dedicated conservative service to the constituents of his district and they could not possibly be successful in an honest race at the ballot box where the voters of District 122 would have such a clear choice. Their only hope in that case was going to court and winning and changing the ballot at the last moment. Unless Zbranek thinks Morrison is the incumbent County Judge or he thinks Morrson has lived here before, we can not imagine what mistaken idea Zbranek has about the situation here in Liberty County.
Democrats desperate to win simply put out misleading information about Representative Corte claiming an empty lot for a residency. The facts were much different than what they implied however. Representative Corte and his family had resided at his current domicile of 4203 Honeycomb, San Antonio, Texas 78230, within precinct 3112, for more than 22 years and he had represented District 122 for sixteen years. Corte and his family moved the original house that was on this property in order to build a new home on that same property and for a short period moved into an apartment nearby. The Texas Election Code section 1.015. thatapplies here will not help Ken Morrison:
(a) In this code, “residence” means domicile, that is, one’s home and fixed place of habitation to which one intends to return after any temporary absence.
(b) Residence shall be determined in accordance with the common-law rules, as enunciated by the courts of this state, except as otherwise provided by this code.
(c) A person does not lose the person’s residence by leaving the person’s home to go to another place for temporary purposes only.
(d) A person does not acquire a residence in a place to which the person has come for temporary purposes only and without the intention of making that place the person’s home.
Liberty Dispatch is concerned about what kind of negative campaign Democrats will run in order to persuade voters to vote for either of their two primary candidates, Fitzgerald or Morrison. Morrison and County Chairman Nancy Archer need to find a competent attorney and quote applicable law if they want to sound believable to those voters who would consider voting for Morrison if he is deemed to be a resident.

Since the Democrats are basically telling the world to butt out, why are they citing cases where the courts butted in?
Nancy Archer did say "Zack Zbranek" when she brought up Representative Frank Corte, but I wonder if she meant Zeb Zbranek. Zeb is abetter lawyer and much more active in the community than Zack. Most people have never even met Zack because he is all about himself and making money.
Zack is green eggs. Morrison is a ham sandwich.

Are we talking about the same Zbraneks? The ones who practice here in Liberty? The ones that had a Daddy as a judge and now have Uncle Rusty as a judge?
I went back and looked at the Youngblood Zbroooder film and Nancy Archer says Zeb Zbranek one time and Zack the other. Her switching names may be all part of the John Archer strategy about if you don't have facts. Maybe if you don't have the facts you: beat on the table, switch names around, quote a different case every interview, threaten the Tiffster with a lawsuit, talk about intent, and sit their like a haw sandwich intil the end of an argument.

There was no reason to bring up Zack Zbranek's name. Chambers better get out his city bills and be able to prove residency. You can ya ya all you want about the Zbraneks but they are the best most thorough attorneys in town. You would do well to leave their names off of your bullsh*t blog.

Once upon a time Bill Buchanan called John Archer a genius. Those were the good ole days. Evidently two years of not seeing him has not made the heart grow fonder. Bill has gone on with his life. John should not expect Bill to drop everything just because he is back in the picture. Bill has a new life now John. Why don't you just set him free? Let him go if you really care about him. You bluebloods don't like anybody saying anything but how wonderful you are.
The Zbraneks were, and still are, very envious of people like Represntative Frank Corte. Corte represented his conservative area of San Antonio very honestly and very well. He had a very positive impact and helped show the people of Texas how true conservative values can make Teaxs stay on top of the list of places to live in this country. Zbranek was someone who went to Austin to watch the Frank Cortes improve Texas while they waited for the lunch bell to ring.
If you keep electing the same ole same ole, then you get the same ole results. I don't know about eveyone else, but I am sick and tired of this same old Liberty County corruption and rumor mill.
