Marcus helped deliver and present the information package concerning the railroad blockage of excesive rainfall run-off to Representative Kevin Brady's mobile office in Hardin. The package contains maps, class action lawsuit history, and the results of the law suit. A clause in the settlement indicating Union Pacific railroad is still responsible for the flooding has caused Mr. Brady to look into the matter and work to solve the problem. Mr. Brady's office called today to assure the matter is in progress. Marcus is completely informed of the cause of the flooding problem in Hull, Texas. This flooding causes problems north of Hull as well.
We need a Precinct 2 commissioner that knows the problem and not someone that just "wants to look into it" We need a Precinct 2 commissioner that will work to solve the problem and not someone that says"The reason Hull floods is because the residents of Precinct 2 voted down a drainage district"
PLEASE VOTE MARCUS BRAND----Precinct 2 Commissioner

What most people don’t understand is that we can work together as a Precinct and as a County. I have seen firsthand what one individual can do with congressmen or even very large corporations. Imagine what a whole county can do! I will be the voice of the people. I will not back down because they say it is too hard. We will find away to do what we need for our Precinct together as WE THE PEOPLE.

I know Lee Groce. I know his voting record. I know his choice of vendors for projects in Pct. 2. I know his idea of what is best for Pct. 2. I know his thoughts on what is best for Liberty County. I know his character. Because I know all these things about Lee Groce, I WILL VOTE FOR MARCUS BRAND!!! I invite you to join me.

The reason people voted down the Drainage District was because it involved Bevil Oaks In Jefferson County. The people didn't want flood water from Jefferson County. We had enough flood water after the Railroad blocked the water off that did go under their railroad track. I heard a rumor, after this Hull flood that the RR Company said they would buyout this little ole town before they shut down their trains to fix this problem. Zeb was our Representative at this time. He did nothing to help and tried to convince the people at Hull not to sue the RR Co. Lee flew around in a Helicopter and looked at the water and did nothing to fix the problem. So Lee, this do nothing attitude is now coming back to bite you in the rear.

And the FRA can shut the railroad down in a second. I know this as a fact.

Marcus has to defeat Charlotte Warner first before he can take on Groce. Prediction....Warner wins and faces Groce...close election but goes to Groce. Brand wins and faces Groce.....no where near a close election...Groce wins. I have not yet decided on who I will vote for if Warner faces Groce but I do know that if Brand faces Groce I can not vote for him. Just like the reader above states they know Groce...I know Brand and I am sure if he wins the run-off the things I know about him will be made public and that is not good for him.

Bevil Oaks? Jefferson County? This caused the people of Precinct 2 and Hull to vote down the drainage district? What in the world are you talking about?

I invite the tough poster to state what they know about Brand. Quit your silly intimidation and let us have the "so-call" things you know about him now. You are a coward and a liar. Admit it!
